Everybody had Roadblocks

Who thought this was a roadblock? Well, It isn't! What can appear to be a roadblock from one perspective is a touching act of love to another. This vinyl serigraph was inspired by the hand torn identity glyphs created by two individuals: The car is the caregiver's, and the blue and yellow block is a young child's. To make this piece more understandable is to recognize its irony. The block in the road was created by a child who thought he couldn't tear the paper because of his physical limitations. He was overjoyed and empowered when he discovered he could. This piece actually represents overcoming major hurdles when things look bleak. To further identify the dynamics, the child adoringly connected his piece to the caregiver's because he wanted to stay close. This piece is actually a true representation of connection and relationships.
