“As Artist in residence at Children’s Hospital, OU alumna
Ginna Dowling gives young patients, their families, and
their medical teams the chance to tell their personal
stories with colored paper and imagination.” Sooner Magazine Winter 2020

The Language of Hope and Courage at the Children’s Hospital at OU Medicine was a year-long program that empowered critically ill children to engage in creative expression as part of the healing process. It served the Children's Hospital at OU Medicine, a teaching hospital that accepts patients under any circumstances, regardless of whether or not they are insured or their healthcare can be paid for. These kids face all kinds of difficulties.
